1998 Grey Registered Irish Draft Stallion
16.2 Hands 10" Bone Inspected and Approved
Macha Breeze is one of only three approved purebred sons of the famous Grey Macha RID (winner of the Irish Draught Stallion class at the Royal Dublin Society Show in 1985) and is the only Grey Macha son in North America.
Macha Breeze was imported to the U.S. after winning the Irish Draught Yearling Colt class and the Munster Joinery Championship at the National Irish Draught Show in Ireland in 1999.
"Mac" is a versatile stallion that competed successfully in driving, dressage and eventing. His early dressage trainer Kris Hamilton described him as a "Comfortable, easy to ride horse who loves to jump anything you put in front of him".
mac is now retired to the breeding shed at SPF, but his offspring are carrying on his athletic abilities in numerous disciplines. his offspring have won classes in the usea Future Event Horse series and USDF 2nd Level Freestyle Championships and many are competing in eventing or excelling in the hunt field.
Macha Breeze stands 16.2 hands with 10" of bone. He is an athletic horse with a lighter build, making him an excellent cross for a modern Irish Sport Horse while still maintaining the wonderful temperament and bone desired from RID's. Mac has a beautiful head and eye, light movement and a very strong top line that consistently shows up in his offspring.
